Gabriel Lima’s paintings reflect on how different subjects and perspectives in the world connect or come into contact.

His paintings are representations of these moments conjuring in the world and in our own minds. In his work, pictorial spaces are occupied by recurring motifs that deal with different domains of mind and matter: human experience and nature; narratives and objects; collective memories and worldly events.
