André Sousa’s paintings and installations start from a rigorous plan set to house the diversity of a diary practice.

His body of work is mostly composed of double sided paintings, contrasting aesthetics, confronting materials and technics, reproductions of vernacular architecture and other objects. In his paintings or videos one finds landscapes, literary references, individual experiences or codified elements and appropriations.
