Galeria Nuno Centeno is honoured to be included in Circuitos’26 itinerary.
The third edition of this event connects more than 65 spaces that are shaping the art scene in Porto, from institutional and commercial galleries, independent artist-run spaces, and museums.
Organised by Direção de Arte Contemporânea da Ágora, Circuitos’26 promotes a diverse set of exhibitions, concerts, performances, talks, and installations throughout the city, giving visibility and establishing new connections between institutions, artists and the local community alike.
João Penalva and his self-titled exhibition will still be on display during this event. Penalva’s first exhibition at Galeria Nuno Centeno brings his distinguished framing of elements in his photographic practice through his notorious series Looking up in Osaka, 2006-2026. Recent artistic explorations are also presented within painting and mixed media compositions such as Interior with bone, Hunting scene, and Patio (after the wedding), all from 2026.
Galeria Nuno Centeno is included in the Este/East section with the number E9 and will be open July 17th and 18th in its usual schedule (2pm to 7pm).
